§ 1 Information on the collection of personal data

(1) Below I inform about the collection of personal data when using my website. Personal data refers to all data that is personally identifiable to you, such as name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

(2) Responsible in accordance with Art. 4 (7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Dr. Felix Billeter, Schwabenstr. 3, 82256 Fürstenfeldbruck, felix.billeter(at)t-online.de (see imprint).

(3) When you contact me by e-mail or through a contact form, the information you provide (your e-mail address, your name, and telephone number if applicable) will be stored by me and potentially in Mailchimp to respond to your inquiries and keep you informed. The data collected in this context will be deleted after its storage is no longer necessary, or its processing will be restricted if legal retention obligations exist.

(4) If I rely on commissioned service providers for individual features of my offer or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, I will inform you in detail about the respective processes below.

§ 2 Legal basis for the processing of personal data

(1) When I obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

(2) The processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processing required for pre-contractual measures.

(3) Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation that applies to my company, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

(4) If the processing of personal data is necessary to protect vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.

(5) If the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of my company or a third party, and if these are not outweighed by the interests, fundamental rights, or freedoms of the data subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.

§ 3 Data deletion and storage period

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if provided for by European or national laws in EU regulations, laws, or other regulations to which the controller is subject. Data will be blocked or deleted when the storage period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations expires, unless further storage of the data is necessary for contract conclusion or performance.

§ 4 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to rectification or deletion

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to object to processing

  • Right to data portability

(2) You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.

§ 6 Other functions and offers of my website

(1) In addition to the purely informational use of my website, I may offer services that you can use if you are interested. To use these, you will typically need to provide additional personal data, which I will use to provide the service. The previously mentioned data processing principles apply here.

(2) I sometimes use external service providers to process your data. These providers are carefully selected and commissioned by me, are bound by my instructions, and are regularly inspected.

(3) Furthermore, I may pass your personal data to third parties if I offer services such as exhibition participation, festival participation, contracts, or similar services together with partners. Further information can be found either in the description of the offer or below.

(4) If any service providers or partners are located in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), I will inform you of the consequences of this in the description of the offer.

§ 7 Objection or revocation against the processing of your data

(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can revoke it at any time. The revocation will impact the permissibility of processing your personal data from that point onward.

(2) If the processing of your personal data is based on the balancing of interests, you may object to the processing. This is particularly the case if the processing is not necessary for the fulfillment of a contract. In the event of such an objection, I ask that you explain why I should not process your personal data as described. In case of your justified objection, I will review the situation and either cease or adjust the processing of data or point out compelling legitimate reasons to continue processing.

(3) You can, of course, object to the processing of your personal data for advertising or data analysis purposes at any time. Please inform me of your objection using the contact details above.

§ 8 Integration of Google APIs

(1) On this website, I use Google APIs to improve user experience.

(2) To retrieve the required data, your browser connects to Google's servers. As a result, Google becomes aware that your IP address accessed my website. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used. The legal basis for the use of Google APIs is Article 6 (1) (1) (f) GDPR.

(3) For further information on the purpose and scope of data collection by Google, please refer to their privacy policy at: http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal information in the United States and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
